I love my 88".

15lbs 14.5 ozs. Stock DA50 an Lipo's. Stock gear.

NOT built with bricks inside...LOL. 19 1/2 lbs....I can;t imagine, but poor choices add up quickly....pitts muffler, nicads, smoke system, dubro rubber wheels, ....put that bird on diet and find LOVE.

Here is my Stocker...stripped ....flipping and tumbling like a bumble bee....Bumble Yak Bee.

I like the looks of the EF Yak much more. They are top notch quality also. That's just my opinion. I never liked the covering of a QQ, but that's just personal preference...nothing more.

Everyday3 is no more than a G3 trainer-crashing know it all! I've flown with him a few times, and I still have to get in my truck and crouch down under the dash every time he lands his Nexstar! I wouldn't believe a word he says.

Just kidding. I fly with him on most calm weekends.. he knows his stuff. He's done more with EF's electric planes than anybody I've seen, and he does have a lot of respect for them. As for the weight thing... who f-ing knows?

Extreme Flight, Quique, or Hobby Zone.. it don't matter... find something you like, fly it like you stole it, and enjoy the sport.

AMEN , bro.

No other plane I have ever brought to the field got more comments and questions than the 88" ..

It is a real Queen Bee.

But I still have fun , even more so, with my beaters. Fly it like you stole it. Amen.

So, did the original poster of this thread ever buy either one of these planes?

Lee, are you using the louver baffle? Make sure to open the bottom of the oil pan box on the bottom of the cowl.

Well, we have had our first 5-6 flights on the new 86" QQ Yak. As promised, I would have my buddy pull on it and compare it to the old EF Yak, which he flew for two years, something like 300 flights or more. His old EF Yak weighed in at well under 15 lbs as he reported. I didn't see this, and I have a hard time beliving it, but he insists.

He flew my QQ86 twice at the Throw-down in Vegas. These are quotes that you can hear him say while flying in the video I just released. I'll let his words tell the tale.

"This flys just like my 102" (referring to his 102" QQ Yak)

"This thing is BADASS... that's the BEST 50cc I've ever flown"

My QQ86 came in at 16.2 lbs AUW dry, with DA50 on MTW-75 Cannister and 3-1/2" Tru-Turn Spinner, no Wheel Pants, Fromeco 2600's on Ign and Controls.
