Hey Guys,
I got a vid of my first attempted tail draaing with my "BadBoy" here:
http://www.eastcoastgliders.rebelfly...eos/badboy.avi

There's a fair few other videos on the clubs website at:
http://www.rebelflyingclub.com

The bad boy was great fun while it lasted, till it ran out of fuel in a low hover. Oh well, you live and learn. Now im hovering with foam, they bounce more (check the vid of flying inside my apartment on the webpage).

Regards,
Trent

I managed a really neat one once in the snow with a 25 sized aerobat. I got the tail down in the snow for 10-15' on an inverted pass & managed to pull out & fly away. Then I tried it again & skidded it into the snow, but got lucky with no damage.

One weekend I went do a little flying, & brought my ultra stick 60 and left the gassers at home
my friend jason had a u cando and after a little flying he dropped down for a inverted pass.
"Let the hucking begin" not to be out done I dropped in right behind him for a invert pass.
as jasons plane flew by I hear him saying he's low on gas and should land.
At this point I am inverted and lined up and thinking you know I should land and refuel myself.
now I am low and slow and just as I start to say to jason I should land too the engine quits!
No altitude no air speed and mid field with no were to go but down.
So as gently as I could I slowed the plane down and plopped it down inverted on the runway
We walked over and looked the plane over and couldnt even find a scratch on it.
But that wasnt the last time!
while flying with guys I made a couple of low inverted passes in the 2 foot range, when
I hear in the background "I double dog dare ya to drag the tail".
Of course you cant back down from a "double dog dare."
So after a couple of low passes just above the grass I put the screws to it and
got it down low I pushed down on the stick and slammed the tail in the ground
to the sound of the guys yelling OH Yaaaa.
after I landed we looked at the tail and had to pull the grass out of the rudder.
We all got a good laugh out of it, and it was fun too.
The next year I lost that plane to a radio glitch, it lawn darted from about 50 feet.
I miss that plane it didnt 3D but it realy flew sweet.

I was flying my old kaos one time, went for a 45 degree upline and pushed for a 3/4this inverted loop... about 1/2 of the way through that I realized I didnt have enough elevator to make it... well I kept the down planted full and she came out level about the same time the rudder touched. I actually kept it airborne for about 40 feet dragging the fin but the nose was perfectly level and I couldnt climb back out. Finally the prop caught and it slid to a stop right in front of me. took 1/2 inch off the rudder, broke both blades of the prop and put some scratches in the canopy. I was worth it for the sheer fact that one inch lower and I wouldnt still be flying that bird.

Another time I was flying my UCD60 arround really low inverted. Our field is boardered by about 6" tall weeds and i was flying at one end. I was doing a pass toward the end of the field and let it get realllly low. When I hit the end of the field I herdthe engine bog and pushed out and landed. I had weeds caught in the counterbalande of the tail and 2" of grass stains on each prop tip... I had to have cleared the ground by like 1cm for that to happen
