Challenge use your sim to make a film of your best shot at an IMAC routine. I am a newbie to building these type of vids, and I am new to IMAC so I am giving basic a shot. Good idea? Who's in? Come on, this autta get interesting.

Billt, I will help you with the video if you are interested, If shortbus had not pointed me in the right direction I would not have known how to do it either.

You need a program that will capture the video for you. Fraps is what shortbus reccomended to me. It is a downloadable program cost is $37.00 usd. works very well. then you can use microsoft movie maker to edit your video and add sound. I am still learning my way around this stuff, it is a heck of a lot of fun to do. I think it could be addicting. I am sure there are many people on here that are more qualified than me to help you make a vid, but I will help in any way I can. www.fraps.com for the program

I just spent an hour on the sim. Ha! Basic is harder than it looks!! I have never really tried to fly an entire sequence before, just small parts and individual manouvers. I printed off the basic sequence and looked at it ansd though is that it? Then I started flying it. OK I think I am getting this whole IMAC thing now. for those of you who have never even tried to fly a pattern yet TRY IT.

Im in on a editing showdown or something like that. Freestyle would be nice too. But i think it would be the best to be able to edit it. Get some creative minds working if you know what i mean. And with the sim you know theres gonna be some wing touching and such. No excuses thats for sure. Im up for a sim contest prize or not. LET'S GO!!!

So here is my shot at Basic. I tried to fly it as if I were competing, no editing or do overs, and this is one of the few times I have tried to do the whole thing from start to finish. I KNOW I did a sharks tooth instead of a humpty bump. After watching the vid I realize that I suck at IMAC, but what would I have scored? I have never seen IMAC flown before (other than freestyle video clips) Am I average for the IMAC newbie? I do find it a little easier to fly IMAC in real life than on the sim due to the limited view area. Vid link http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...o=5468&cat=505

well green that was great exept it was a little hard to see. I mean its a sim dude bring here in close other than that i personally would carry a little more speed because you were dropping wings here and there.http://www.teamflyingcirkus.com/newi...hp?page=Videos you will have to sign up but on that page is a video of all the routines at a pace thats easy to view. check it out.
