I am sure it's a joke, right? If manufacturers did build like that it'd definately encourage people not to buy them, LOL!
If it is not a joke, then sorry. But do get us more pics as it nears completion, before covering...I see a lot of stuff on there right now that won't hold up.

yah, its really great to scratch build and If I tried I probably could not do any better than you.

But talking up your airplane like that really doesnt make people think very highly of you.

It is my humble opinion this model will suffer from Flutter issues....
The control surfaces need more structure to be STIFF torsionally... a well as some
truss type additions to the aft fuselage structure....

Flutter = Death

like i sayed theirs still lots more work to do
as as the manufacture thing well they simply built TO HEAVY my 48 inch katana was
only 3.4 lbs now your saying any arf i buy is gonna be some wear between .5 to 1 lbs heaver. strong is not a issue simple build Strong but light.
i used a dremal to cut out the sheeting.
i don't like how a arf says a 40 size 3d plane but u need a 4 stroke 90 to 3d it.

i need to finish the control surface and finish the 1/16 sheeting for the turtle deck.
that will solve all the strength issues.

EVEn with sheeting, you need cross bracing in the fuse behind the wings.
As soon as you have a less than feather landing that fuse will crack off right behind the wing.
Its a problem in all the planes that look like that (flip 3d, and the UCD series) and those have decent support. as Mithrandir said.. some good cross bracing will help ALOT.
