3W Votek Maiden Day - Yippeee!

Well, the maiden day for my 3W Votek went off without a hitch. Got about half a dozen flights on it and man, am I impressed. Tracks like an arrow and the 3W157CS, even being new and all (4 gallons through at the factory), really outpulls my DA150 and man is it smmmooooottthhhh! Can't wait until next weekend to get more time on it! I kept telling myself that on the first day, I was going to keep in nice and high and easy. But it was just running so well that on the last flight, I couldnt' resist.

hi greg,
are you by any chance firends w/ damon? ...that looks like joe's old votec and damon had mentioned a buddy of his bought it....damon just bought my blue votec about a month ago....congrats on the maiden

Nope, I don't know damon, but this is a new Votek that I bought from Joe H towards the end of construction process. I think I saw your blue Votek in the ads section and it sure looked nice.
