Why don't you try it yourself? Nobody's going to spend the money to test your idea. Draw up plans for a small balsa or foamy (if a foamy, give it an airfoil) and just see how it goes. If it does make a dramatic difference, then heck, you won't be the only one trying it!

I hate to build planes, I like only to fly them. I could not build it because I would not be able to fit the fuselage to the wings tapered in the opposite way.

Nobody of my club want to build such a plane because have no time and think it's a crap

If you're to lazy to back up your ideas, then they must be crap. If they truly are worth the effort, then build it and you'll be famous for doing that and not for being a keyboard hucker.

If someone thinks that it is a good idea they would have jumped on the opportunity to build it already. Lack of interest speaks for itself.

Have you thought of paying someone close by you to build it? That way you would get your idea tried and the other person wouldn't be out the $$ to build it.

That should have been a clue! Either build it yourself (learn if you have to) and prove us all wrong or right, or let it go! No one want's any part of this...

We here, where I work, just tested a unit that I had designed that I was told by all but 2 people here that I wouldn't work. It was a few simple peices that would convert our single stage compressor into a 2-stage. I was told that it had been tried before or that the engine didn't have enough horsepower and that it would become to unstable inbetween stages and blah blah blah........Well, it work and now we are looking at more tests to refine and make it more efficient. It will be a lot of work but if it works then great, if not you will learn a whole lot that might help you come up with a new idea.

Hasn't anyone tested my idea with AFPD yet?

At this site http://www.aerofly-pro.com/ that simulator seems a bomb

Test please my idea. Come on.

Thank you

bigbrain, I don't think that anyone is interested in your idea. Save your $$$ and pay someone to do it.

I find it absolutely hilarious how so many people have given so much attention to this thread and at the end it comes down to the designer wanting to test it in afpd.

Did you know that the programmed physics of the way the planes fly in the game only accurately represents flight when the planes comply with a narrow range of parameters. Ex. Wing span, weight, speed and shape. There is absolutely no reason why a totally abstract wing shape would work in a game like afpd or G3.

I did edit a yak in G3 and gave it opposite chord and width at the tips and it fly's better than the original. So its a nice edit in a game. It probably wont work in real life though.......
