Well there ya go. Tony built, covered and painted my 260 and did a great job. He'll do the same for you.

No doubt about it, CARDEN airplanes are great quality....With that said, I have not had the opportunity YET, but I have heard nothing but good things about DALTON.....I am going to have to do one soon.

Tony built one for me. Covered and painted it too. I'm very pleased with what I got. I had a Carden Edge once which was also professionally built. It was way too heavy and flew heavy. Get the Dalton. |

I'm very happy in what I'm hearing!!! Can't wait to finish my 300. I also spoke to Tony about covering mine when I'am done. Get the Dalton for sure!!!!

I've flown them both, they're both awesome. Two of my buddies have the dalton and love the way it flies but have had a lot of issues with the way the airplane holds up, specially the 1/16" side sheeting cracking all the time. Can't go wrong with either but I vote carden. Albert |

I think the looks thing is a big part of it. I would go with a dalton it looks good in my opinion but the flight performance is proven by mark.

Definitely pick up the Dalton. I have one, and it is the best flying plane I've ever owned. Very precise for IMAC type flying, and a 3d monster as well. Oh wait, I'm talking out my ass, I don't have one, I just want you to buy something so you'll sell me your Edge. ![]() ![]() |

I have had more Cardens than I care to admit to and have never had a Dalton. The reason why I have had so many Cardens and have not tried a Dalton is because I have found the Cardens awesome and have not felt the need to change. I can personally attest to the quaility of the Cardens and you also need to consider the service and the ability to reach the owner. My vote is definitely with the Carden not as a knock to Dalton but based on my success with Carden. If you are undecided and after reading all these posts you still can't decide then you should go for the kit that looks better to you personally. As far as the success that Mark L has had flying Dalton, he could fly a refrigerator and still win contests. Good luck in whatever you decide. Tony |

Here's a thought.... "There can be more than one great flying plane out there" The "You have to get ----- plane" posts make me laugh. You wont go wrong with either plane being discussed in this thread.

What Wayne said. I get asked this question alot and its hard to answer.Carden has been around for a long time and would not have the sucess that they have had if they were selling junk. As for the side sheeting mentioned above I have never used 1/16" side sheeting and never will. This is also the first that I have ever heard of this being a problem. I think some good advise for all of us to follow is no matter what you fly, if you do have problems no matter how big or small send the manufacturer a email or give him a phone call. I am always willing to listen and this will only make the products we buy even better.Manufacturers, myself anyways appreciate feedback from customers that are flying or building the products we sell.
