Nice video,

why did you recover yours? personal preferance, or is the "china cote" really that bad?....I guess it could be lightened up a little if I strip it and take out weight where i can, and recover it, but is it worth it?

it should be delivered on the 18th

The new China Coat on the se version is not that bad. I have not had any problems what so ever with any of the covering coming off like the original version. I will also add, you will love the plane

When, and for how long do you guys have to sign up for? My DV is re-covered, saw it fly before I bought it, haven't had a chance to fly it myself

hi tom - well we dont just sign up - we have to!! 3 years compulsery for men and 2 years for girls - and then camps of between 1 month to 3 months a year until you are 45 - where I live we are sorta always at war - lol
now me i Am going to the airforce to do pilot training and if i dont make it i will fly UAV's

you will really enjoy the Chip DV - it can take anything you throw at it - so fly it hard - but it will also be as docile as a trainer - enjoy and thanks for your interest in the army thing!!

I hear you on the war, been over in Afghanistan 3 years now. It's all good if you get to fly, either UAV's or the "bigger" ones!! I did 22 years in the USAF, enjoyed every minute of it Don't worry, I will beat that DV up

I did re-cover mine cause of poor quality on the chinakote.
The new versions are much better on that part.
Also, I do like to make my own color scheme.
