Yah there are alot of things that are different from what's in the manual. hopefully I will get mine finished up if that slow trickle of parts ever finishes coming in.

I LOVED the DV. It is not a straight liner airplane, but 3D's like a monster. If you want to snap the bird cleanly, don't use any elevator! Rudder and ailerons make it nice and crisp. Keep it light and you'll have a real hot rod on your hands. I had a canister and 23x8 carbon prop pulled like a mule.

Thanks for the link guys. Mine is the DV3 but the build thread will still help a bunch. This is my first gasser so I don't know hardly anything about putting them together and want to do my best to make it is perfect as possible. Anyways, if I have any questions now I know who to ask.

The SE's did in fact come predrilled and with standoffs for the DA50... BUT some were made without the predrilling for other engines...

Either Chief is out of the pre-drilled or they are mixed and matched...

These are VERY likely the last there will be... I have a 1st edition built and two SE's in box... They are fantastic... and I cringe at the idea of not having one years to come...
