Default Rise and fall of my 40% Yak54

Flew my Aerotech 40% Yak 54,first five flights were fantastic, got it all trimmed out,got the mixes dialed in,(at least my buddy did all that). Anyway did the flying for the day, came out the next day. Flew a flight, then some of the locals wanted thier turn, along about the third pilot it happened. He did an up line rolled it inverted, and came back across the field and the rudder started ocillating back and foreth.rolled to a knife edge, rudder still going back and forth, and went in at a 45 deg angle . After picking up the pieces, took it home and checked it out, darn,EVERYTHING was working!! After the crash we checked the freq with a checker and no signals were showing on my freq. So who has any ideas?? Radio is JR 10x,rx is 2000 dial a freq, batts were 4800 lipo, and 6600 lipo on rx and 2400 on ign. Here are a few pix. Oh yea had new 3W157 for power. Not to worry,I already have new one on order.

How many servos did you have on that MASSIVE rudder? I would hope at least 3, or a BIG SEIKO?

Sorry for the loss, thats terrible.

Did you roll the airplane to knife edge and at what point in that short time did you loose controll of the plane. Did you loose complete controlle as in PCM lockout of did you get some kind of radio glitches. All these answere may be able to leade you closer to what happened. I know when I first flew my 40% yak I had a little tail wag, this was easily solved by making the rudder cables tighter and never had the problem again.

Hey Warren, it's a bad day indeed. The only thing I can think is the first few flights is your new rudder cables will probably stretch the most. Then if your horns in the rudder are too short you wouldn't have enough leverage to keep that rudder from fluttering...Just a thought.
Sorry
