It really wasn't my fault and I am actually satisfied that I was able to save 90% of the plane. She'll be repaired though its gonna take a little while. Check my Su-26 build thread at the bottom 32% Su-26 Build |

| Should have checked the prop. I saw the whole thing. Oh well stuff happens. You did do a good job of saving it though

Well I blame you then......... You were there and never suggested tightening my bolts. Your supposed to be the experienced flyer. Though I did notice you went straight to tightening yours after my mishap |

Hmm... Without more details, we can only assume that your powered airplane turned into a glider at some point during a flight...

Thank goodness. I had just re-installed the prop the night before....it was snug then. It was a CF prop so it shouldn't come loose as easily as a wood prop. And yes after the cow exploded and the motor came off........one sparkplug wire was undone and the other was connected to the plug but not enough to get a spark.......so the plane was a giant glider. By the way my RX batts were floating out of the front of the plane also. I always dental floss them to the switch at the connection point so that most likely saved me from loosing power. |

No pics????? what do you want a pic of the half bolt that was left (all the others are in the desert) Believe me that prop was intially tight. It must've worked loose from the flight earlier in the day......and no I don't check my prop after each flight......normally at the end of the day or prior to the first flight of the day. And limited details?????? Not much more to say.... Note: The cowl isn't salvagable, I'm missing a big hunk out of the front including some of the nose area. The wheel pant is salvagable. |

I don't check my props before the first flight's, just at the end of the day. I never saw a reason to check them after they have been checked once. The limited details I was talking about were in the first post, we didn't know what even happened until SEG chimed in. I'm sorry if I offended you...
