Going for a walk posting pictures when I return.

What RX were you using?? If it was the G3 5014 or 5114 then you will ALSO get lock out if the other Futaba PCM turned on. The 2048 will not recognize the Futaba 1024 as being in "the family". It will act like any other hit and should have given you a failsafe.

"IF" it turns out to be the infamous "leaver", hopefully he comes to you and fesses up.

If this guy truely knocked your model out of the air, it just goes to show, with redundancy, the lack of respect for safety, and situational awareness at our clubs.

OK... 6 beers and a few pictures later and I'm feeling good.
Its time to get the YAK and the Dalton airborn!!!

BUT.. I have to say, I really am going to miss the Panzl.. BADLY especially since it was really just dialed in... Man... what agood plane. When I find a few extra bucks I will build another. Perhaps a PAK and cover it!!

ANYWAYS...

Shot down or not..
(Judge.. I was using a 9 CH PCM (non-G3 receiver 149? i think - to lazy to go look but it was a dial a channel and I never had a problem with it... even the past two weeks of non stop flying at Nall and then in Findlay!))

As always - Life goes on... as I have said before.. the day ya build them you write off the money...

Anyways.. I know EVERYONE loves some good shots of carnage.. so here ya go.

My kids expressions pretty much sum up my feelings on the matter.

Did you have the rights to that channel at that time? our club has a frequency pin, and you're supposed to fire up your Tx only if you have that channel's pin with you.

Man that sucks sleepy
It takes some balls to shoot someone down and just leave. I had the same incident only with a 40size glow. The only exception is he confessed to it and helped pay for the airframe. Hope you find the culprit.......

That would tear a fork in your new night gown Sleepy. I can understand the peeved feelings your going through.

Do you think the guy even knew he zapped you. Sounds like he was packed up and going when all that happened. Perhaps he has no idea.

I would definitely broach the subject in a nice way if you run across him again. He may not fess up to it but I bet he never switches on again without knowing who's on what channels. Of course if your a dastardly little bugger you can save up a bit of fun with him next time. A few quick turn ons lets em know what it feels like.

KIWI.. believe me I tried.. I asked around, it was like a murder scene in the hood,
EVERONE saw everything, but knew NOTHING..

Oh well... the Panzi cheated death once a few weeks back... perhaps it was like that movie... where if you miss your death date... death comes to get you!
