A friend was taking pictures of one of the saltos doing fly by´s when the other Salto came doing the same thing in the opossite direction and they crash on each other.

It was impresive the crash because after they hit they just fall of the sky in front of us that almos hit us by 10 feet, because they hit each other in oposite direction the velocity was almost all kill so they just fall off.

The batery as you can see came off an fly, it was never found....

How big were they? I had a 4.2m span Glas Flugel Salto that was a great performer.

Ahhh I have seen this symptom before... it seems the tail is suffering from withdraw. I am not sure if theres any chance for this one....

No, that was a bona fide crash and burn. The fuel tank ruptured on impact and the Li-Ions blew up causing a total loss. That's Frazier Briggs in the middle...it was his plane.
