Guy's, It was a beautiful morning here in Chicago so I decided to maiden my WH Ultimate. First flight wet smooth, trimmed it out, stalls, etc.. Second flight went well also, vertical rolls, KE, Etc... Third flight while practiced hovering I noticed that it would fall off into a spin, 1.5 turn-pull out-no biggee...note to self practice hovering with some height until you get use to this plane.......well I wasn't high enough, the last time it took about 2.5 turns before it started to recover, just long enough to stuff it into the turf. Sure wish I would have kept the NIB H9 Extra 260 I had on the shelf as a back-up bird!!! Dom |

Ooooooooo, soooooo sorry dude. Man, on the maiden flight too. I've been there and know how you must feel. That's why I am trying to build as many as I can afford in my hanger. What's that car behind the plane? Looks like a beaut.

The car in the back is a 57 Chevy, and the plane is un-fixable....good excuse to get another one. I was bringing it into the house and my 5 year old asked me why there was grass on the engine? I told him it hit the ground kinda hard!
