I'm planning to buy the sebart Katana S30E but i have compared both videos of the katana and the qq's electric yak 49" .... katana seems to be very unstable in 3D maneuvers ... on the other hand qq yak seems very very stable.... So which one is better for practicing 3d maneuvers.. any other suggestions accepted but i want it at that price and electric... katana : http://www.sebastianosilvestri.it/Video/Katana%2030.wmv qq yak-54 : http://www.somenzini.com/downloads/v...9flight_lo.wmv |

why isn't the Fliton AJ 330 on your list of consideration? It is unbelieveably stable in all aspects of flight and is a 3D monster! I have considered adding the QQ to my fleet as well as that Katana, but after flying my AJ, I'm in no hurry. FWIW, it looks pretty breezy in that Katana video, and the first time you see him entering high-alpha, he is doing so in a crosswind. As for that rocky attempt to hover it in front of him, maybe he just hadn't flown in a while or found that that plane flies quite a bit differently than his other designs?

| http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...tanaS_0001.wmv Ive got the sebart 30s and it great. The vid on the sebart website doest give it justice. The katana looks awsome with that scheme I,M,O. It defo' has the smoothness of a much larger bird. Get the Package deal with the Hacker C30,14L. Its the best motor for the job. My mate bought just the plane and was messing about with different power sources but nothing came close to the value for money and ballz of the the 40amp esc,- C30 Hacker. I too have a SebArt KatanaS30e and they are fantastic planes,i agree with lee about the Hacker C30 14L being the best motor for the job.As i haven't flown the QQ Yak 49" i am not sure what it is like but what i do know is that the katana is a seriously fine bird and its rock steady in the hover providing the man on the sticks is up to the job.It is the best electric plane i have ever flown and it does have that big bird feel about it as lee mentioned so i would say go with a katana and you won't be disappointed.I am sure whichever way you go it will be a great choice and one that will put a big smile on your face.
