That airbrushing really sets the plane apart from others and its not "overdone" and matches the scheme of the plane....

Blair, since i start flying electric outside, i can't tell how much i like it, no more pile of equipment is necessary, also big advantage no matter how much you fly you don't need to clean plane after flying! And biggest advantage for me electric over glow setup is reliability, no matter where you fly what temperature is outside, you can be sure engine will run same always! Only minus i see now, is slightly bigger price for good electric setup, but i think it worth investment, specially when we count how many flights you can have with each power type.

Thank you for comment about airbrush, i really like it as well, i was planning to ad some black airbrush on red are but i think then it will be overdone for sure. Here few more shots;

With smaller brother good pattern trainer Vanquish.

One thing i realli like is scale look, with EF atention to details this plane really look like Extra.

Equipment instalation, ESC mounted in left side of fuselage, this was not best place for it, much better option for better coling is to place esc under motor box.

They look great...thanks for posting more pictures. The installations are nice and clean and leave plenty of room for the batteries. Chris/Extreme Flight really does capture the look of the real thing while at the same time making them fly great!
Thanks,
Blair

Blaine, Shaun thanks for kind words! Here some fresh info on my Extra update;

I try to set up all my planes ( from indoor to F3A) as best as i can, that mean i try to reach more stable plane with less corrections required in different flight phase. First idea is SFG, i ask Mr. Chris, and he told wing construction should hold extra loading. So i put small nice looking SFG's from balsa, and they sure make good plane even better. I put small washers between SFG and wing to let air flow easy, and not reduce roll rate to much. So far i attach them with long servo screws (putting drop of CA glues in drilled holes), it was temporarry decisiion, to test concept, now when i see that it work i will have to rebuild SFG mounting. These are maneuvers that SFG improve;

Naturally KE flight, KE loops, point rolls are easier to make and have more precision.
Flat spins become really flat and very easy to control.
Roll rate is not so fast and it is easier to make rolling loops.
KE spin is slower and plane is more stable
Now i have more stability in hi alpha maneuvers.
Also they looks COOL.

So if you have time and wish, update your Extras like me.

P.S; I don't take credit for shape of SFG, i borrow it from Manuel Santos xfc Dalton extra project.
