Okay....Looks like I will be calling EF tomorrow. I really didnt want to give up on my 45" Extra but it looks like it is time for it to take a break.
I will pull all of the gear out of the 45" Extra and move it into the 48" Extra.

One more thing. When I order tomorrow I am not going to specify a color and we are going to let the guys and gals at EF send me what ever color they want.
That way it will be like having a baby and not finding out the sex before it is born.

It really depends what motor. If it's a higher kV motor it might be okay. A really hot 3-cell on the stock motor would be alright if you put a 14x7 or so prop on it. I've flown my Yak that way and it's not too shabby, just not ballistic.

I have about 10 flights on my 48" exp right now and I'm totally in love... This plane is a one of a kind in this size. It does 3D in a shocky airspace and still tracks very well. The sfg's make the plane superb in KE, I really had to get used to them in the first flights, you need sooo little rudder input...

The crazy elevator deflection makes this plane so different from all others in this size, and it opens alot of doors for better, "newer" (as in new Figures) and extremer flying...

I use the Torque 2814T/820 + 45A controller, with FlightPower EON-X 2450 mAh lipos, a setup which is giving me the preformance I want at every moment during the flight!

2 * 5065MG Hitecs on rudder and elevator and 2 graupner DES 476 BB on the ailerons.
I'm very pleased with this new Graupner servo, it has better speed then the hitec 5065MG or 65MG and is about 10€ cheaper. I have only tested it for about 10 flights, so we will see how long it holds, but it looks like a winner for this price.

After next weekend the Competitions and shows are over for this season, soooooo it's almost videeeo time...!
