Hey guys I just wanted to show off a new bird from Tim at E-Foamies. Its a All EPP Extra 300 that flys like a 40% bird!!! They are 100$ and he has a deal if you buy it with the MicroDan motor. This is the best foamy I have flown to date out of 100 diffrent airframes!! Well OK here is the Report..... At 13oz she flys really nice! I did not spend any extra effort in making it light, The batt I am using currently is a 3oz 1100 mah 3cell. so its kinda porky in that sense. The MicroDan has crazy power!! Got to have for this bird!! As for flight, I maddened at 11:45 last night under my street light so I did not get it rung out too much. Here is what I know. Tumbles: WOW!! Very tight and smooth, Easy to come out of too! KE: I had some coupling but I believe its due to my CofG. I never changed it just flew. I have it at 4in behind the LE. Flat Spins: One of the best I have ever seen, It will climb with no problem inverted and upright. Very smooth and crisp! Hovering/Torque Roles: Easy as pie! Hovers at just about 1/3rd throttle, no problem at all, very stable. TR, are nice and axial, This thing just spins like a top! It will Anti TR also! And Last but not least. Level flight: How nice is it to have a foamy that tracks like a real bird... This is such a great thing! I love flat plate and can never bash it but it sure is nice to have level lines at full throttle!!! Cant say enough about this bird and I have only flown it about 12 min!!!!! Great Job Tim, Its everything I thought and some. Now for build techniques: I cut slots for the Elevator and Rudder servo arms, I thought it looked nice and clean. Note: When glueing the Bottom on, Be sure and keep the bottom of the fuse flat, You can very easily build a downward bend into the fuse Be sure to check and double check..... Don't forget to do the Landing Gear before adding the Top and Bottom, If you don't it makes for a tough time adding later Glue the Canopy.... It really makes the fues Rigid and tight. Ailerons. Be darn sure you have the ailerons straight with the wing. its very decieving... I Love the bird and will be getting one of each color!! Thanks Tim!!!! Later Chris Mc Nair |

I saw this plane fly last weekend. It is really sweet! It took some incredibly hard hits and it didn't do a thing to the aircraft. It is definately on impressive bird.
