Exclamation Attention dog owners: lipo's are not dog toys

I got home from work friday and there was a a horrible electronics type stench in the house. But could not find the source of the offending odor....the house slowly aired out and I lost intrest in finding the source as the house no longer smelled. Today while doing my annual cleaning I found the source of the stench. The 2 cell lipo burned through the dog bed and in to the carpet.....and thankfully none of the Greyhounds were injured and there was no serious damage to the house. will post pics later.

WOW! Can't wait to see what that looks like? They punchured the cells with their teeth? The dogs didn't get sick? Very lucky .... thank goodness everyone is OK!

That is a scary thought. Just glad that the possible worst case outcome didn't happen.

A couple more pics of the bottom of the dog bed and the offending battery. I will no longer store my lipos where the dogs can get to them....the pool table is not high enough, and will get something fire safe to store and charge them in.

Can you pick the guilty party? or do you think it was a "group effort". I don't see any distinct puncture marks, looks more like it was just chewed on.

I'd head to an army/navy store and see if you can get some ammo boxes.

The top picture of them on the round bed, looks like the one dog didn't get enough of a charge from the lipo and is now chewing on the electric cord!!
