Another great experience with customer service at Castle Creation. I sent in two bad Phoenix 10 esc's one of which was a really old model and what do you know I get two brand new ones in the mail USPS Priority today. Just wanted the world to know, with all the foreign compitition, you cant go wrong with this kind of service. Thanks again Castle!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() John C. |

John, I had the same experience with them a year or so back. I picked up two ESC's in the USA and brung them back to Chile. One was DOE the other I had a problem programming. Seeing as I was here and they are way up yonder I figured they were good for fishing sinkers. Well I sent an email and they shipped two brand newbies USPS international air and I had them in less than a week. They asked to send the old ones back anyway I liked and when I could. Thats the kind of business model I love to see and deal with. I can name three companies that work that way and most of you can guess who they are. Castle is one. Great to have a supplier who answers the phone, responds to emails and admits when there is a problem and breaks every record in getting you up and running if you get a faulty product. Kiwi |

CC is the DA of ESC's. I was setting up a new ESC and to reverse it you just swap 2 wires, and I did that with it still pluged in and they touched and smoked it. I was pissed for being so dumb. I sent it in just asking if it was rebuildable. They sent me a NEW ONE NO CHARGE. I will only buy CC ESC's for life. I dont expect them to do that again for me but that was customer service.

I can't seem to find a problem with my CC stuff so I can try their service out! I proudly use the free TX strap they gave me at Toledo and wonder why I ever bought the Brand X ESC's I have. But it was before I knew how great the CC products are. We all need to support any and all companies that are in the US that give that kind of service. Before the Thunderbird line came out price was a issue for the budget minded but there is no way I would buy a Brand X now. For my money Thunderbirds are one of the best buys in RC.

I have only had one problem with them... I had a controller rip the wires out when I dirtnapped it! I sent it to them, and they just replaced it and I paid for shipping. Lucky for them, that was my first ever Brushless ESC and I ended up with 12 more over the years. They are in the same boat as DA, Troy Built Models, and Fromeco!

Not such good luck here. I had 5 cc85HV controllers go bad in my heli 4 of which let the magic smoke out during the initial spool up. Castle claims they are not aware of any such problem and did replace a couple of them as well as tower hobbies (best customer service) who has a like return policy of Wal-mart replaced a couple for me. Needless to say, that last one i sent in to Castle for warranty was over 2 months ago and i have still gotten nothing.......... Don't worry though, i moved on to a Kontronic and been flying ever since...... Hard to imagine i got 1/2 of a flight out of 5 Castle speed controllers and can't seem to do wrong with my Kontronic. I would never fly with a Castle again, even if it was free! I have a Castle for sale once it gets back if any one wants it cheap as heck! |

I'll keep that in mind just incase i find myself in a situation where i need money to go buy a new set of shoe laces! I may be upset with Castle but im not stupid! Ill take 75% of the original cost of it and i'll pay the freight without second guessing it but come on with the low ball offers |
