Also: Hacker makes motors for much bigger than 45 - 50cc equivalents. Check out the Hacker A100 to A200. | ||||||||||||||||||

I have never owned an axi, or had the chance to see one in action, but I did get a hacker 20-20l for christmas and love it. We have guys at the flying the same DW foamy as me with a himax, and a rimfire and the hacker eats them for lunch and is lighter. I was in your shoes back before christmas making my wife a list and after seeing a few of the hackers in a variety of sizes flying I was sold. Everyone said nothing but great things about them. I think both are quality products and you can't go wrong either way.

For 30-32 inch foamies, I think the Hacker A10's perform a little better than the Axi's, and for lightweight F3P foamies, the Hacker A10-15S weighs substantially less than the smallest available Axi, and the Hacker is also substantially cheaper. That's a win win situation. The weight and price are facts, not personal preference.

I like Hacker and AXi motors equally. The AXi 2208/34 is the perfect foamie motor. VERY long flight times. The only thing I don't like about Hackers is that they are noisier than AXi, but I have no preference. They both have their place and work well.

Axi ![]() I have run my 2212/26 on:
I also have a 2208/34 on a Wades Rc Avenger Biplane. `10oz, 10x5E, Dualsky 620 mah. I would say a hacker has a slight power advantage, but you pay for it with heat and shorter flight times.

I run a hacker 20-20L with a TB 16 and TP 1320's on an Insane YAK... I run 12-15 minutes pretty easily and really like the APC 10X5 E prop vs the slow flyer.
