I have been using them for over a year. They work perfect. I was using the 1300 and 2100. I had some 4000 but it was not up to par, 3300mah max capacity. I really like the silicone caseing that the terminals are covered with. There are 5 of us here that were using them. A friend of mine was going to sell these. He decided against it, not because of quality, but because of the supplier in China. The quality was not a problem and I still use them.

I have used the Zippy 2200 packs with outstanding results in both my glider and Alpha Mig 15. I am getting at least 2000 mah per flight . My friends have at least 10 packs for their gliders all purchased from Hobby City. I use the 20c packs but I have not tried the 30c.

Me and a buddy of mine have a few zippy packs ( 1200mah) and they do pretty well. i also tried ( can't friggin remember the name ) of another 1200mah pack on their site which was rated at 25-25C discharge....and on my little foanie , with a hacker 20-20L....it RIPS! I'm only on about the 12-13th cycle on these and they out perform my $54.95 TP 1320 packs by a mile! They we're $22.00 each shipped to my door! Awesome deal! They are however heavier than the TP packs! example...i think the TP 1320mah is like 81 grams and the other 1200mah packs come in at about 110 grams. still worth every penny! |

I ordered a few Zippy packs 2 weeks ago along with a charger and am still waiting to get them in the mail... Hopefully I'll be as happy with them as the people in the reviews were

| I’m having LOTS of problems with all of the batteries I purchased from Hobby City. This was my first order and so far I’m not happy at all. I’m using a TRITON LIPO/NIMH/NICAD charger to charge these ZIPPY and HEX battery packs. I’m also charging Thunderpower 800,900, 1320 and 2100 3 cell packs. When finished, all of the hobby city battery packs are practically useless. I charge the night before I head to the field or sometimes a few hours before. They charge for about an hour as normal but when you go to use them you get about 10-30 % power and only a few mins worth of charge.. They will not keep charged or hold power. I’ve tried everything. I’ve checked voltage, on the packs they are very close like they should be for each cell. Funny thing, None of my thunder power packs are having a problem. All of them have good solder joints and deans connectors.. My thunder power packs are STRONG and reliable. I’m very disappointed w/ these zippy and hextronic packs.. I purchased 8 I believe on recommendation from a member at our flying club… I no not where to go but down from here. LOL .. Uggh. |
