Default Heres what I'm runnin: Fliton Edge 540 Freestyle

Hey all. My first official post to FG. My Fliton Edge 540! Converted with:

Hyperion 4025/12
Hyperion (aka polyquest, tanic) 5 cell 3700 litestorm
Hyperion Titan 80 (Bec disabled)
SBEC (4.8V)
APC 15x10 'E'

1.1kW to the windings, I'm not quite sure how much of that gets to the prop. 4kg of thrust and 63A

The CG is just about perfect with the batteries pushed up against the firewall, they are held down with velcro straps onto a 3mm acrylic plate, Velcro on the plate and bottom of the pack prevents the pack from sliding around.

Servos are Futaba S3004's all around.

Performance: Cruise in the circuit at half throttle.......but what fun is that? Unlimited vertical, nice braking on the way back down. roll rate is very good, even on low rates. Knife edge at half power with a little coupling towards the canopy that isnt worth trimming out.

I like it Marcus!!!

I have the Extreme Flight 300E with the HiMaxx 3516-1120, I think that's the right number, puts out 345 Watts at 31 amps from a Thunder Power 2100 Pro lite pack, all on an APC 10x5 prop. I had the recommended 11x5.5 but I was pulling 39 amps and putting out 410 Watts, way more than I the motor is designed for and too close to the E-Flite 40 amp ESC's max.

This is on a plane that only comes in at 36.2 oz., talk about fun!!

But Marcus is going to get rid of that horrid plastic spinner or I'll have his guts for garters!
