Default E flight 60 and 160 what batts

hey guys

i know i must have like a million threads on electrics now but
i finally decide wut i like and no one will say it won't work because then
ill have to make it work.
any way I'm working on getting some foam blue core to be exact.
I'm in the mid of design a 35% extra 260 full fuse and air foiled tail with wing
it will all be built up i figer 10 to 12 lbs rtf this one will have a
e flight 160 but i don't know on the batt ??? any one know what lipoly to use

the other foamy will be a 80 inch edge 540 same deal but only
a e flight 60 for power

i need to know what batts to get and what type of servos do i need.
if every thing gos to plan i should have the motors in a month or so.

i hope to have enough saved by winter to pay for the rest of it.

Fly boy,

I am not an expert at large electrics, so someone with more experience can help you decide which exact battery would be best. There are a few companys that make lipolys in that size range, Tanic, Duralite, ThunderPower, to name a few. (those are just the ones I know of, there's probably more) I do know that Duralite and most of the MFG's make some very high discharge packs, which i think should do well.

www.TanicPacks.com, www.DuraliteBatteries.com,
http://www.thunderpower-batteries.com/

I know that Levi Jordan (previous owner of 3DFoamy) was in the process of making a 37% Extra 300L out of Depron/Blucore foam, which looked to be coming out very well, but when Levi sold the company, progress on it stopped. (I do think that Levi and John have the files and the prototype parts, so they may have been working on it, but I really don't know) The thread for building it is on RCU.

Good luck with the projects, they sound very cool!

Brandon
