Default Gilbertsville Polo Fields

Here are two views of where I'm forced to fly . I've found that having a 125 foot wide and 825 foot long flat carpet of grass spoils me . The Leatherstocking R/C Buzzards insure the field and as per the request of the field's owner it is open to all current AMA members . We have pilot training classes there and regularly hold events . We think it's the finest flying field in Central NYS and no we don't allow horses anymore .

Nice!! I gotta show my wife this one! If I could only kick the horses off our horse farm I would A, save money and B, be really happy! Do you guys still show up in Range Rovers and have strawberries and cream? You're a lucky man!

After a great deal of thought and discussions with various IMAA Directors, we're planning on having a Giant-scale fly-in open to all AMA members in the hopes of introducing these members to the IMAA . We are anticipating have an IMAA information booth at this Hospice fundraiser . With our well run flightline ( no the flightline officers are not armed ) along with the great bunch of pilots we normally draw , we can see no problem in doing this . The event will be highly publicized both with our flying organizations and the public media . I'm also counting on Max and Biff for their assistance .Our goal is to have the best, well attended R/C Airshow in central NYS and the place to be July 20-22 .
