The AMA doesn't want to control fields, but, if you don't follow the simple common sense safety rules they have, collecting on the insurance they provide will be extremely difficult if something should happen.

too bad for the hobby....would be nice if we all could have fun without the bulls&%#$@. Gotta join in my area, and me bein new to this hobby,just makes me wonder what kind of crap i'll go thru....and i'm 47 years old. This isnt an elite-est sport is it?

99% of the guys you meet in this hobby are very cool, of course there are a few that will get on your nerves, but for the most part, all good people.
