The walking paths are aboout the only bad thing at the RCRC field. The one on the south end of the runway comes within about 50' or so of the end. We used to have signs there stating that you were coming into an area of active aircraft operations, do not stand inline with the runway, or something like that. Didn't matter though, people would stand right there and watch planes take-off and land. Only when they came close to a nose hair trimming would they move.  I don't know how many times I would walk out there and tell people that they could get hit by a 9 lb airplane traveling at 60 mph with a pair of knives spinning at 17000 RPM. They eventually got the message.  It's a great field, lots of good guys there...and yeah, Millett is a friend of mine. Jon

Dude, I forgot about this post. No, I'm not deployed right now. I'm at Ft. Eustis, VA at my Officers Advanced Course (Combined Logistics Captians Career Course, or CLC3 for short). I'll be graduating in a few weeks and moving to Lewes, DE to take command of a 5000 gallon Fueler truck company. I'm a full time reservist (AGR). Hope you have a good time there when you go. Jon
