Anybody else been affected by this.
I can't believe this.: 30aq:
As you can tell I'm pretty pissed.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM.......... Highland Villiage. I'm thinking that is down around Marble Falls, right? Mom and Dad have had 19 inches up in Lampasas right up 281 from you. Lampasas airport is kinda dead and you have all the taxi ways and 4500 feet of paved runway with nobody to botheryou. It's about 40 minutes north of you. I'm thinking all you have to do now is time your flying between the rain showers and have at it!

PS: PM me and I'll come join you one weekend.

You came through DFW and didn't call me so that I could drive down and meet cha'?
Man that just ain't right.

I can't believe this weather. It's rained everyday for more then the last two weeks. The last month has been crazy. The Red River is touching the bottom of the Hwy 35 bridge right now. Texoma is catching the run off water too. Just heard it's rising 1' every 12 hours. That's crazy stuff right there. They are saying it will crest Thursday afternoon. At the level predicted, it will flood over the spillway before Thursday.

be happy you've got rain. It's been over 6 weeks here with less than 2/10ths of rain. The farmersa re hurting bad. Not to mention my yard to and flying field are brown...as in dead. I would rather have some rain than none at all.

Come to NC where we have had 4 days of rain in the last 90 days. $280.00 in grass seed planted in mid march down the crapper do to high heat and no rain. New house no lawn but the flying has been good do to the lack of it. Still would like to have a green lawn and my money back. Good Luck.

Yeah that's right, so that means we won't fall in. But then again that's if we get a field to go back to.

The rain in Houston has canceled our family fun day at the field today. I have my first gasser in the garage that I have flown once. Anxious to go burn some gas! Just can't get a good day.
