Our club is a gated 36 year old AMA Gold Leader Club as well as IMAC sanctioned. We have an annual membership of about 260 people. Our facilities include covered pit area, Coke machine, restrooms, safety fences, starting stands, public bleachers, and park benches. The 48 acre field is actually in the city and owned by the Fort Worth Parks Dept. on the north east side of town! Our runway is 600' x 50' golfing green grass and its as smooth as glass. It's 100% club member maintained. We frequently have RC guests from all over the world as we are close to Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, Naval Air Station (NAS Ft Worth), Eurocopter, and many others. The club supports gas & electric RC Airplanes, helicopters, Gliders, and Control Line. Our website is : www.flygsw.org |
