Fields in the Las Vegas area?

Ok everyone I am going to Vegas and would like to bring a plane with. Just wondering where would be the best place to go flying for the day? Or are all the fields invite only in the area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 dedicated RC model filds in Las Vegas. William Bennett Field, AKA Silver Bowl Field on the far East side of the valley, and Willie McCool Park Model FlyingField at the far north end of the valley. Both sites require AMA cards; both fields are "public".

Eldorado Valley dry lake bed...open 24/7Acres of open flat hard pan, NO houses, swamps, bridges, fences, ditches, helicopters, apartments, attitudes. NO ama required, but encouraged. Pinboard. Friendly flyers. 8mi from Railroad Pass Casino..toward Laughlin. Look for the only tree in center medium, turn onto the lake bed right and angle 11clock for 1/4 mileline of cars and pin board,here is a samle of area.(p.s. Thanks for the info. The wife isn't thrilled about me bringing a plane with (wait till she finds out that I am picking one up in vegas too).
