Thanks for the kudos guys. Your presence at the field always means some great planes and huckin are in store! It's great to fly with guys of your caliber. Really offsets some of the others found around!

Hope you aren't too set on the dog face- I'm really kickin' to get that 40% leather brain bag version on the production table! Ought to look pure fantastic in your bipe! I'm sure we will be looking your way first for the #2 production model when ready. We will make you a deal you can't refuse to prop em up in that cockpit!

Does Daytona appear to be on tap for this 30% chance weekend?

selfportrait- you gotta put that avatar out of it's misery!!

Hey All!

Just wanted to welcome new FFAA members!

Mike aka Lastresort, from Winter Haven, Mat aka Midnightdreamersr, from Edgewater, and Curtis aka Staudecherpilot! All 3D Brothas and a great bunch of Huckers! Welcome guys!

Those of you who are interested in competing in IMAC, (Thanks to IMAC Mat, he kinda nudged me to go ahead and do this now) If any body else is interested in going and getting together and practice, I think we should do an FFAA IMAC Get-Together. (X-Rated could definitely help out with this!) Since we are getting together on August 30, Sat at Daytona, we can work on some straight line flying. Of Course there will be the normal 3D antics down low for the hardcore dudes. I am thinking of heading to Boca Raton, Sept 27-28 Boca Raton IMAC Hurricane Classic.
Check-out the IMAC Southeast Region Schedule at http://www.mini-iac.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=77

FFAA Dates to Remember:
August 30- sat FFAA Get-Together and IMAC! Daytona Beach RC Assoc- Friends, Food, and flying!

September 27-28 FFAA goes IMAC'n- Boca Raton IMAC Hurricane Classic

October 18-19 FFAA Florida Youth Masters- Please get with Donnie if you are interested in helping out!

October 24-26 FG Huckfest- Atlanta Hucktoberbest- hosted by Extreme Flight RC- Oh Yeah!

December 6-7 Fantasy of Flight: Extreme Freestyle Aerobatics Festival (or Show)

Happy Skies and Huck-it, like you stole IT!

Rennie and crew, I have a question on an airframe I bought. It's a Lanier 33% Edge 540. Should weigh about 21 to 23Lbs depending on engine. I was thinking on the new DL100. Even though it will most likely be to much for it. I also know the spark plug cap2 will stick out the sides of the cowl. My reason for buying this motor is later I can get a Extreme Flight Yak to put it in. Also I got it for $368 shipped from Tower Hobbies. Is this a dumb idea? Don't hold back tell me your thoughts!

100cc in 33%ers has been the norm for years. The DA85 pulls that EF Yak no problem.Check out some build threads on your new plane and see how its balancing out.Thats a great looking bird and ya cant beat that price.I used to have a 36% extra w/ zdz120 and the plug caps stuck out the sides and i thought it looked cool.
