Default Texas Hill Country Flying Fields

I am currently looking to move to the Texas Hill Country and am looking for fields near Boerne, Bulverde, or Spring Branch Texas that allow large scale aerobatic and pattern aircraft.
Can anyone provide any helpful information?
Thanks.

I'll ask around for you, but we are in San Antonio, and we fly GS 3D.

Rodger Tinder is the only guy I know that is flying large scale airplanes in the Boerne area. Flying fields are few and far between in that area. The SA guys are the only group that fly IMAC style airplanes. The area you are refering to are all about riding Horses and talking about Texas. Hopefully you can find a decent place to fly.

I just moved to Universal City, TX, which is kind of a trip for you...it's the North East corner of San Antonio. There's a couple of fields somewhat near here, only one within a 15 minute drive.

For the locals, I'm looking forward to meeting you guys in person!!

Thanks very much for the replies. I looked on the AMA club search and found that there may be a site
in the Canyon Lake area. Is anyone familiar with this site?

You might look into the AlamoRadioControlSociety. I am a member and they have a new field.
It is located just west of San Antonio a little south of hwy 90. Very nice field! Good people! Great flying!!

Hi Ken. Once you get settled in, are you going to fly some more IMAC this summer or are you going back to pattern?

Hey Bobby,

I'm hoping to do both, but I need to work and save to get my new IMAC bird. As of now I'm working toward the Hanger 9 260 and a DA-100.
