Oregon Miniature Aircraft Squadron Airshow

OMAS is having its annual airshow the weekend of August 16th and 17th and we certainly hope that you will put us on your calendar! This is an airshow and fly-in that is open to the general public so this is an ideal way to get your clubs name and info in front of a large amount of people. This year, our PR person, Cliff Yee, has done an excellent job of getting the word out and we expect this to be a banner year for attendance. We have an article going into the Hillsboro Argus and Cliff is setting something up with FOX 12’s Mark Lysewski. So in a nutshell….we have the public coming…..we just need to entertain them! That’s where you all come in. We would love to have lots of participation from the local area clubs. Bring a banner to display or flyers to hand out. As an incentive to show, we wont be charging any flyers the customary $4 parking donation. Also, as an added incentive, any flyer (at the airshow) who would like to join our club, would be able to do so without an initiation fee. That’s a $50 savings! If you’re an experienced flyer or a newbie, if you fly 40%ers or Foamies, or if you fly ScaleMasters or ARF’s held together with Duct Tape………We want you to come and fly your airplane! Don’t forget, we have a 6 acre lake perfect for float planes. Helicopter pilots…..dont feel left out……you always wow the crowd so come on out!
