Talking Re: Results of SSRCC meeting of September 14, 2009

You can't clap with one hand the credit goes in a circle, this was the easy part. It was nice to see so many well wishes I could not resist.
When you are opposed in an election you can be sure of a few things,

1. One that the opposition does not buy your line. True or False
2. That the opposition feels confident they have enough support to defeat you. True or False
3. Pump/ candidate/ election/ goal. Using the 4 words please complete the sentence.
4. When the opposition tells you Oh we gona have a contested election this is gooooood very ggggggggoood what should you think?

One who answers today’s questions best Is A FG Bad Ass intellectual.

The above are hints for current affairs you all seem to want to hear.

All I can say is WOW!

I am not going to go into detail here as I will leave that up to Don, Mark, and Baj.

I was so blown away by what took place and in how the majority of the individuals there were able to openly discuss the issues at hand. I never expected the limitation of 65cc engine size limit to even come up for discussion last night, let alone be voted out by overwhelming majority.

Spoke with several of the members of the "morning flyer retired group" not under the definition of the "O.F. Group" (sorry guys but O.F. is how everyone knows bad individuals). These are some of the greatest supporting individuals of this club.

One person I have not seen addressed is Dr. Williams. Dr. Williams is one of the Great Silent Members of this club. Until the July meeting there weren’t many individuals even knew he was a member. His address to the membership was done with great enthusiasm and honesty. Here is a man, who no one really knew at the July meeting, but yet was treated with such disrespect. Came back and addressed the membership and indicated he had no hard feelings. Here is a great man of Honor!

I am looking forward to getting back to flying and leaving this bad memory behind us.

I have been watching this thread for what seems like months now, I know it hasn't been that long, and I am glad to see things have finally headed in the right direction. The best of luck to everyone involved even though I don't think you will need it.

He has been at the field every time we have gone and made a point of it; he also brought coffee again. He was passionate in his delivery and there was no doubt about his position and where he stood for all to see.
I too would like to congratulate who knows for standing up for the GS guys.

Just got home, could not wait to see these results. Let me say that I am very happy to see how things have turned out. Good for you, and everyone in the hobby!! Chane, you are the one who got the ball bouncing on this situation. Alot of other people may be doing the hard work now, but remember that you were the first person to do something about it. Congratulations!!! PAUL G.!!! I feel bad, and good for giving you a hard time. Bad for what I said, and good for maybe helping you to decide for yourself about doing the right thing. You can stand proud and face the man!!! Hell, when I get out that way to visit my mom, I'll make sure I meet you guys and shake your hands. This is great!!!

What a load of bovine feces being spread real thin here.
We threw the mower-man under the bus with glee and then washed our hands and pretended everything was fixed.
Shame on those who chanted Obama and a pox on the scum who shouted the racial slurs over the chant. Pretending it never happened is just wrong. Not removing the board for condoning the racist acts and violations of free speech rights that night is also troubling. If it makes you feel better to lie to yourselves .. enjoy...but pull mower-man out from under the bus cause he should never have been put at the door that night. He was doing his job as an agent of the executive board and they were fully aware of his condition and medications.
The president referred to the AMA 17 page package as containing "toilet paper" class act there.
Anyone who sues a fellow modeler or the AMA needs to be shunned from the R/C community!

2. That the opposition feels confident they have enough support to defeat you. True or False

1 some will buy your line but are afraid to admit to it in fear of being on the wrong side reguardless of right or wrong
2 no one knows the outcome until its over. anything can happen.

i have to be honest in that i am having a difficult time expressing myself here. i hope this is close enough

Rudestar,

Believe me when I say I can really understand how you look at all this right now. Try hard to find the good by letting this go and seeing this was a very real victory. Yes, some of the old guard is still in place but it seems the club is now in a position to go forward. It will take some time to heal and there may always be scars but in the end the real disease may have been eradicated...time will tell.

I can let it go. No problem with sweeping it under the rug either. Just save the sacrificial lamb er "brute with a pole up his arse" Cause he is just a tata caught in the middle of a three way power struggle for control of this club. Control freaks playing gullible individuals to commit bad acts stinks.
