I would hope the entire board is voted out and replaced by Baj and his people in October. BTW Rudestar, I love your avatar...and I'll never be a kool aid drinker!

If you ask me I would be glad to send in my letter to withdraw for the seat of SSRCC president this very minute, no problem here, actually I would be so much better off personally. I will be nice, I will not lie to them, I will not be in their way, but trust no that has to be earned. I can't stand people who blow with the wind. folks ture or false. |

The current board claiming they were not aware of any racist actions or statements is pure BS. I watched their faces as the taunts spewed through the room and they were all grinning like Cheshire cats, it was mission accomplished they looked like they wanted to high five each other. They had been there for an hour prior inflaming the chosen few into a frenzy and are responsible for the door mans actions and by condoning the general memberships obvious bad acts they assume responsibility.

Very encouraging progress. Sounds like there is still some work to be done. These kinds of things can be very fragile. In the mean time, I'll bet there will be some good times, and flying at the field this weekend. My best wishes are with you guys! |

Rudestar, I understand how you feel. However, at this point it is probably best to let the Club do it's best to heal. The Club has overwhelmingly voted to remain with the AMA, and knows the AMA's position on the behaviour issues. It is logical to conclude that they are willing to accept AMA's requirements. Let the higher authority deal with it, and focus on putting the Club on a good footing going forward. |
