Was only planning for Sat, but if the wife doesn't object......

O.K. folks I have found out some info. We can get U-Hall. It is $2500.00 a day to use. I know that sounds like a big number, but if we had 100 pilots and charged them $25.00 to fly we completelty break even. I will try to get in touch with some pilots and vendors, I need to get a general idea of the possibly number of attendees and how many days we would like to try to do this. U-Hall is a HUGE place, right in the middle of Charlottesville. There are more resturaunts and hotels within a 2-3 mile radius than you can imagine. I would like to see this turn into a huge event, but again, I need help from people. Is this something you guys want me to continue to pursue??

thanks for doing the ground work cliff, maybe with some sponsors interest and a good turnout that could work. ive never been to an indoor event but u-hall looks better then what i see on the vids. now we just need a couple places to practice, i like the idea of late night flying in a gym.

Jeff,
Pete and I were talking about this the other night. I might have a contact that could check on the Liberty University Vines Center. I think it would be a nice site.

It is in Virginia and it seems like we are gonna try to do it. We are looking at dates from late Feb. to early March. I would like it to be a coulpe day event too, but we will have to see how it goes. So far I have not gotten a lot of response back from people.

It is coming together slowly. Another guy and I are going to try to meet with the fellow this week so we can pick a date. I think it is gonna be one of the last two weekends in Feb. or the first one in Mar. We have to work around things they already have planned.

U-Hall is huge, I can't wait to fly in there. Almost too much room in there..........did I say that??
