Default changing AFPD schemes?

All I know how to do is paint different color shemes for afpd sim, but how do I actually change the whole scheme to what I want it to be? For example if I want to have a Aviation Models schemes on one of the planes on AFPD, how do I change that, and what program should I use? Also when I paint a scheme on afpd the bottom and top have the same paint job, so I cant have a different paint scheme on the bottom than the front, do what do I have to do to paint both sides the ways I like it to be?
thanx for any help. I really want to start doing different schemes for my afpd planes.

Default Re: changing AFPD schemes?

What i do is,

Open the Bmp named something like Yak wing, in paint or any program that will handle .bmp files, (some are in .TMT, I don't know what to do with them)

Then Look for the out line of what ever you are repainting and change the colour of everything inside it to a colour that is easy to work with.

Then put your desired scheme on that.

Then go and repeat these steps on another (eg fusalage).

Then your ready to go!

TOP TIP:
Keep on going into AFPD and make notes on what needs changing.

Thanks
0llie
