I have a G4 but dont want to use the stock transmiter, cos I need to get used to my futaba 14mz. How do I set the 14mz in order to use in G4 ? And my friend told my that I will not be able to use the switches on 14mz, is that true?

I use my 14MZ with the G4 without any problems. You just have to choose the "pass trough" option in the radio settings tab. Then you have your 14MZ with all its possible features to work with.
