Well, I downloaded the Demo, and to my disapointment, never got to "feel" the
simulation... was nothing more than watching basicaly a recorded sim video...
One video of each... biplane, heli, float plane.......
The graphics of the recorded flight looked pretty decent, and the sounds were ok.....
but, there wasn't even a chance to fly on there.... bummer...
Therefore I have no clue as to the level of realism that is felt while flying....
You should mention this on your post above about the demo, so others don't experience what
I did if they goto the site and download it... At least the coffee was good while waiting for the D/L to complete...

Think I will stick to Realflight G3.5...
At least with Realflight 3, 4 and 4.5 I could download the demo and get the
feel of it, as it would let you fly for a little while before popping up some adds...
However during my trial of RF 4 I discovered that my PC just wouldn't run it
smoothly enough.... will probably upgrade to RF 4.5 if I ever get a newer PC,
at least I can d/l the demo and test it first hand for a little while first before buying.....

Yeah, my post was just about the much anticipated update.

Lots of general Phoenix info and discussion here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559220 for people new to Phoenix.

Personally I think its a fantastic sim, very happy with my choice.

Looks cool... just wish there was a
flyable demo....

For the price, I was really interested to start with....

But... theres nothing worse that buying software,
and then finding out that your PC actually wouldn't
run it, even though it was equal to or greater than the
requirements..... been there too many times..... lol
