I have done> Look at "Katana_ma" above. I changed the TMD file for you.


To open it in word (for future purposes) right click on the .TMD file scrol down to "Open with" and select something like notepad

All are good tips. I use Wordpad for anything to do with AFPD; I have noticed that some other programs will somehow corrupt the files sometimes.

I have been flying the Katana mentioned in this thread on AFPD, modded it a little bit, now one of my favorite planes on there!

Hi Diablo, can you please explain to me how to change the TMD file, as i havent a clue,there are a few aircraft i need to do this for, any help would be great.

look in the aircraft part of the AFPD directory on your hard drive. Look for the plane in this folder that isnt working.
Open the folder (e.g. Katana_ma etc.) and look for Katana_ma.TMD

Right click on it and then in the new list, click on "open as" or "open with"

Select notepad and click OK
Now open the TMD file that will now open in wordpad and at the top their is a number. If it is 1.9.0 then change it to 1.8.0

Hey were can I change that number I just opened the folder and there is an icon called katanak.tmd but is just like an icon I cant open that icon, please tell me were can I change that number?, thanks.

I have also a problem with afpd. 4d-models doesnt work. They load, but when I want to fly with them, afpd just shuts down.

Can anyone solve this problem, thank you
