Wild Hare's Edge 540T

Here is the really sharp looking plane!!! what do you all have to say on this model,
for a great price ? I do really what to get this one but need more input form all you pro's.

And also I will be using JR 6102 wich is all I can afford at the moment.

If there is something out there that is around this price or less I would like to take a look ?

The WH edge flys awesome, dont think you can find anything negative about it. I have the 260 and it flys great too.

I just purchased one about a week ago... I cannot wait. I have to tell you a bit about WH. They just came out with a new version of this model. It costs about 429... The old version which is displayed is aobut 350.00.
About WildHare.. Tom is one of the most helpfull persons i have ever dealt with. He will answer all questions you have and make a complete package for you if needed. All of the posts I have read on rcuniverse are ALL good. Well I did read one bad one but you cannot win them all. Even in the bad post guys where ripping the poster because he made some comments that i dont think where 100%. Anyway last I spoke with Tom they had about 4 or 5 of the old model left and the news one will be in mid december. Take a long good look at them and I think you will be very happy with your deallings with Tom. As far as the plan goes i cannot speak for it because I dont have it yet. Hope fuly soon..... They offer a Semi-Finsihed plane which Tom can explain in further detail... Give him a call you wont be disapointed.....

I bought one of the new (lighter) 300 extra's from Wild Hare when they first came out about 6 months ago. I would give the plane a 9.5 out of 10. Great planes, And Tom offers top notch service.

Thats weird I thought Tom had told me they had not gotten any in yet... The old and new look the same but structural different.

It is a good, tough airplane. My only problem is with the tracking in negative stuff. Mine would always get really wandery when in negative pushovers, sometimes veering as much as 30 degrees off line. I've talked with a number of WH edge owners and it seems to be something about the design.

Other than that its a great plane.

My uncle has the 540 serial #8 i believe. Awesome flying plane. He's got the 33% 260 and Edge 540. These are really nice kits. Tom has been great for him to deal with also. You can't go wrong with this company.
