Help! Servo arm / Servo! please help!!!!

Hey,
im building my first giant right now, and i have a problem! I use all ds 8411 and i put a servo arm on one of my servos and notice, that it was not completley centered! Last time this happend, i broke the servo and had to send it to horizon to get it fixed! My question is, how do i get the servo arm off of the servo without breaking it? It is a metal gear on a metal servo arm, and it is very hard to remove! Any tips or hints are greatly appreciated! Please help!!
Best regards nick!

Remove the screw, then wiggle it back and forth gently until it comes off.

No problem. Sometimes the aluminum arms can be pretty tight until you install and remove them one time. The anodizing on the arms can make the tolerances a little tight.

Put is somewhere VERY VERY WARM....like on top of a heat vent...dont wanna melt ..obviously...but make it warm/hot to the touch and then try the wiggle and pry method.

Did you use loctite??/ Red or Blue?? Acetone treatment...maybe. Not by the heat vent though.....keep acteone away from high heat and flame....

Or you can get a very thin screwdriver blade and while pulling the arm up with you fingers you can gently lift it from the bottom at the same time.

I use a pair of Side cutter/Dykes cutter pliers between the bottom of the arm and the servo body. Carefully squeeze and the angle of the jaws very easily separates the arm upwards on the shaft. I then throw the 8411 into the garbage and buy a brand new HiTec 5945 or equivalent (5985's now) to replace it.
