Default NEWBIE GASSER HELP PLEASE - QUESTIONS

Hi Guys - hoping some of you guys will help me out setting up my first gasser. I'm starting out small with one of AeroWork's Yak 54's, the 90-120QB. I am putting an Evolution 26GT on the nose. Ok - here are a few of my questions:

What type, size, Voltage of battery would you all recommend? Here is a cut and paste from HH's site and what info it provides about the EI on this engine.

************************************************** ********
Overview
The 26GT comes equipped with Evolution’s advanced GT2 Ignition System. The GT2 Ignition System can be powered by a Li-Po battery pack without the need for a regulator. It also includes an optional, remotely-mounted LED tach as well as timing software that can be programmed for muffler or tuned pipe exhaust systems.

Bulletins
Recent tests have shown that the new Evolution Engines GT2 and GX2 ignition systems require a minimum of 6.4 volts for proper operation. Subsequently, it is necessary to use either a 6-cell, 7.2-volt Ni-Cd/Ni-MH battery or a 2-cell, 7.4-volt Li-Po (lithium- polymer) battery as the power source for these ignitions. Capacity ratings of 1200mAh are sufficient for a day’s flying time.
When the battery voltage drops below 6.4 volts, the ignition will not allow the engine to restart. This battery requirement applies to 26GT2, 45GX2 and 58GX2 engines having the new ignition and has now been incorporated into the instruction manuals for these engines.

************************************************** *********

I ordered a 6-cell 7.2 NiMH pack and got it when the engine and other stuff came in, but I think it would be like putting a brick in the plane!! I have a 2300 6-volt JR NiMH for the servo's. For the EI battery, I planned on using one of JR's HD Charge/Swtich's, OK??

I'm using Hitec HS-5645MG High-Torque's on the wings and tail and a Hitec HS-5985MG High Torque on the rudder. I'll just pull one of my lighter JR servo's out for a throttle. Anyone have any problems with these for this size plane?

Thanks in advance for the help

OK O'Wise One's, enlighten me with your knowledge

although I usually like to have a redundant battery setup with 2 light 1500 NOBS NIMH packs (www.hangtimes.com), but it might be a bit too much weight on the plane. I'd add a second lead off of the RX battery into a second switch if you're going to use just one, and plug it into an empty port on the RX. that way, if a switch fails, you still have another one

You need a 2s lipo or a 7.4 lithium ion battery... I had the same engine and tried to use a 5 cell NiMh ... but as soon as the voltage got to 6.4... the ignition shut off...

Your servos are an over kill on this plane, IMHO, Hitec 635 would be fine...
