I have seen some pictures of a totally laid up CF plane. I tried to do a quick search to find pictures for you but came up dry. As I recall it was an aerobatic bird like a Yak as a recall a round cowl. It was large too. It had a finish like a Mejzlik prop too. Looked cool. Might need to pull the Rx behind it on a streamer though...............

Guess you could put 2.4 in it and place a little rubber ducky antenna on top of the rudder...

I used a cheapo Raidentech Acipiter Badius as a mold once, when I had a roll of free CF that was 6 ft wide and 600ft long, just for fun. Looked cool, but I never finished it. I was just playing around while selling the CF on ebay. Got it for free because I had a cousin working at Cytech at the time and the roll didn't weigh right.

About 5 years ago or so Lance and Gray at Aeroslave made a Pattern fuse totally out of CF. It was extremely light but also very $$ to do. To my knowledge they only made one. After this, again if I am thinking right, Radio problems and antenae placement were problematic.

You can find Aeroslave's e-mail address at NSRCA.org if you wanted to e-mail Lance.

so your saying that radio interference is an issue if the rx is not outside the plane?
