Before running your GR Pro Engine
1. Check that there are no metal fragments inside the motor
2. Check that both brass thread inserts are in the carb manifold and that one or both bolts havn;t been epoxyd in just to stay there
3.Check that the thread in the prop hub actually matches the thread of the hub bolts
4. After 5min of running take the prophub off and check that the key in the keyway slot is still in one piece
5. Take off and check that there is thread lock on the prop shaft cuase we cant remember if we did it at the factory
6. And last but certinatly not least don't stand in the line of the prop when the motor is running becuase they have been knowen to snapp keys and throw hub and prop off at full throttle.

Andreas I have made up my mind I will fly the DYZ 150 in the Edge at TOC this year
to with GR Pro. And you know worst of all they blame me for the motor not running at the trade show cause they say I should have check all those things ............... YA Right ....................

Hey Stu man you were right man should have listened to you buddy.........Do you know Glen Mathews? And what were you doing in Joburg thats a dangerous place.

Trev
Oh forgot I just returned the motor to the Dealer 15min ago not interested in flying sponsored crap.

Hey Andreas
The guy who is interested in the 107 inch yak asked for dimentions he wants to compare it to the QQ one. Also he deffinatly wants Dymond servos for his new plane so give me a good package price for him. Maybe you have heard of him ( Johnny Califato )
he was the owner of one of the oldest an d most succesful hobby stores in SA.
He flew a H9 260 At the LSA NATS with me and got the snot kicked out of him by the bigger planes. So thats why he wants something new.

Hey Gus, found the problem with my DA50, the bolts holding the head on were coming loose. Two fell out while I was flying and the other two were really loose, that explains why it wasnt starting easily, damn!! my arm hurts!

Yip,the old timers can still do it. my dad a 76 still flys a bit, and Tony Holing at 86 still twiddles the sticks a bit, saw him at the vlei on sunday.
Saw Johnny fly that turbo raven at Oudtshoorn ( not sure who built it ) was pretty impressive. Still remember when Johnny had Topflyte Hobbies, when it was in Voortrekker road in Bellville( late 70s early 80s), then he moved to Tygervalley.
Havnt been to fly at TMFC for years, but believe Johny and John Cuningham are doing a good job on the Pattern and aerobatics clinics.

Hey Buds

Trev I think we met at the 3W show in Mucke??
Living in Israel for the moment, Luckily I have my own Biltong and boerewors production otherwise I would have died by now.
Flying in Israel is good but we lack proper runways like back at home HOME SWEET HOME.
Will put some pics of my planes when I return from Canada monday.
I am looking for a good distributor for my 49" raven in SA any ideas?
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=620184
Well I will put an effort to keep the SA tread going for sure.
By the way I thought 3D stands for Drank, D.......S en Dagga?

Regards
Alex
