Badass! Rob s extra 260 & highlights H9 edge 540 maidens zdz 80 j's

hey guy, me and highlights had quite the eventful weekend. the weather has finally come around to were we can get out and not freeze our asses off. anyhow weather aside i maidened my 33% wildhare extra 260. zdz 80 rvj on a j&b can, 5 hiTec 5955 tg single on alerons and one on the rudder.two 6.0v elite nimh 2000 and a dynamite 6.0v1500 on the ignition. and all running through fusion 9 rec.this setup ended up been affordable and worked well. so for the first flight the motor started beautifuly, i ended up running it a little rich this been a new motor and all. the take off was excellent only two clicks of right aleron and she was straight and trim. i was very impressed with this motor frame combo. the plane pulled with a lot of authority. solid up lines and good climb out. i was itchin to let her rip buti did take it easy.

now on the second flight she was a bit more stubborn starting but we got her going.same thing she took off straight and trim. i performed a couple of more basic menouvers when to our amazment we could hear a bad rattaling coming from the motor. We ad thought the can might have just come loose. so i brought her in, and to my amazment i BROKE all six prop bolts.they broke right were the threads start.well we'll just say my day came to an end with the plane in one piece.(i'm starting another thread regarding my issues please put in your input).

so all in all,it was a very succesful day for me and highlights. he maidened his H9 edge 540 with a zdz 80 rjv
his day was came to an end when one of his two alereon servo linkages decided to not stay bolted on the right wing. i guess this is were 2 servos per wing actually comes in handy.

Thanks to all the guys that gave any input with this plane and i guess highlights would say the same thing!

THANX to all FG members
