So Donatas, are you getting servos ready for a new 123" EF Extra perhaps?

The tight dead band could have a disadvantage of burning up the motor since it moves around much more at center (and maybe using up batteries). Otherwise why would Hitech set them that way at the factory?

Basically, what I meant was that without ganged servos, you can get away without the programmer. If you gang them, then it's extremely helpful.

![]() And for rest of you, thanks for all information and interesting discussions about servos! It will help me to decide what equipment to select for next season. Hpapilot yes im preparing for EF123, should be fantastic plane, i wait so long for this moment!!! And from first pics/videos/rumours i saw/heard it have stunning scale look and killer flying characterystics! I better start saving for equipment, only servos will cost 1300usd... outch ![]() Here some shoots from second day flying with my second Yak from EF, famous Chinn yak55; ![]() ![]() ![]() This model is pure fun!!! Very easy to fly and it have performance of best shocky, i love it so much, and OS91 is really not to much for it, i even get backward CG with it! Here i send you few pictures from today flying, i made already 11 flights, need to shoot video asap! I update one detail here, instead of putting screws to hold balsa covers in wings i put magnet on back side and attach it with clear tape in front. But certainly it is most entertaining and easy flying airplane i ever had, Chinn deserve medal for such good design, aileron servo mounting technique is very good. So Jeremy thank you for all advices for best setup and top design! P.S; Sory for messy thread

Hi Don ! Very impressives and crazy flies this week end at the Agenoria. I was here on saturday to show your back landing I hope the sunday was as good and crazy that saturday. After this show, I plane to buy the same extra as you for electric conversion with AXI 5345 and 12S. And I have some questions about servos. I show you use 5955 and seem without complete satisfaction so I plan to use 7955. Are you using 1 or 2 servos for Elevator ? I show the Dierickx set up with one. Why don't you use AR9100 rx which integrate power box ? See you soon... at carvin ! Loïc HAUX - From France |

Agenoria Cup sure was great fun, and yes sunday had no accidents. I suspect you have in mind 88.5 inch Extra for electric setup? In such case power setup will work fine. And for servo selection i did not tested new 7955 so far but im sure gonna use them in my next gioant scale planes, 5955 are really good but they don't hold center well... And for electric plane, i think one servo for elevator is acceptable, since plane will not have so much vibrations as gassers have. Here some pictures from show; ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More pictures on Agenoria cup homepage; http://www.agenoria-cup.com/new/gall...008/index.html

Donatas - I love the flme scheme on your Yak. What paint do you use? Man, how tall are you? You dwarf those other guys in the pictures.
