As SleepyC said, I have over 150 flights on mine and I always take it to fly, I have a BME 110 and the weight is 25.6 lbs! I will always have one in my inventory.

I had 100's of flights on mine, its an awesome flying airplane. I flew it mostly in IMAC and switched up to high rates for 3D. Its incredibly aerobatic and tracks like an arrow. I loved it so much that I went out and bought another one after I lost the first one. |

The other scheme is what we call the "Red Bull Base". The plane will be dark blue on top, grayt on the bottom, and will have a yellow cowl and hatch. Th eidea is it's a base scheme that will allow application of a Red Bull scheme plus many other schemes. We plan to have at least 1 graphic set available or you can do your own. One of our customers in Australia did one of these except that his did not have the yellow hatch, see below. TF | ||||||||||||||||||

I hadn't thought about airwild... are their wings full composite or sheeted foam? Wildhare... I didn't know you were also involved with XC.. so I guess that makes 3 US vendors so far... I think Planes Plus or something like that had them for a while before Bob V picked them up. Its a shame, and you're right.. it takes much more than a good piece of hardware to build a good business. I think there's plenty of room for 2 (or more) composite companies... but it sounds like they need to support the dealer base better, develop pilot/sponsors, and take just the basic steps required to build a footprint with the product. I know the economy's challenged right now, and many modelers are spending their airplane funds to keep gas in the car. I don't really have an "inside" feel for the overall size of the 100cc composite market, but even in today's climate, if they chose to really compete in it, you'd think there was room to succeed. As to an earlier post about mounting the servos in the wings... they recently upgraded the design to include wing pockets (same as comp-arf)... unfortunately, it was on the shipment AFTER I got mine! And yes, the elevator servos are a little PITA, but just a touch of sanding, a can of axle grease and a shoe horn will let help them slide right in.... just like the comp-arf's! No matter which plane you go with.. throw the phoenolic servo arms away and go with metal (you pick the brand)... you might need to widen the servo arm hole just a little, but its a LOT easier than trying to get that arm mounted properly on the servo and get it mounted in the wing or stab. Again, same for Comp-ARF. |

Very, very nice planes from 3W. The problem is the price, either in dollars or Euros, plus shipping. By the time you bought one you could have bought almost two Comp Arfs of the same size with all the hardware included for both included in the deal. Just too far over the top price wise.
