Default J-TEC Panzl or X-treme composites edge 540

In the market for a pure fun 3d machine 100cc what airframe do you recommend. Im thinking either the j-tec panzl 330 or the xtreme composites edge 540.

I have put hundreds of flights on my Panzl over the past 3 years and love it for 3D. It made an appearance at the Woodstock Huckfest. If you have any questions, feel free to fire them my way. I would be more than happy to answer them for you.

Panzl rules.

Really nice flying plane.
The EC Edge flys nice as well, but seems almost like a 33% bird in size compared to the Panzl.

I had some of my most fun days with my Panzl.

I guess that settles it, but the panzl is so ugly.

See I really like it.

It really grew on me.

The cowl is dope when its filled with a 100cc motor with the cooling fins showing.

Ask kevin or Al for the set up. i know you want to run the Rudder servos in the back (Trust me on that one) and it should balance nicely.

Add CF tubes and Gear and feel free to cut a few holes into the motor box and firewall.

The plane is good.

hey tank.... doesnt' Pedro have a panzl?

anyway, the JTEC stuff sure seems to be built well and very durable. i have seen both of these planes fly several times and the panzl is probably the way to go for an all around plane. not to mention less$$$$$$$$!

good luck with whichever choice you make!

No. Mine is a PAK with a DA100 with cans. I have an Airwild 2 servo tray in the fuse, just forward of the Turtledeck, and my batts are under the turtle deck, just aft of the forward turtle deck former. Balance is perfect.

Tank is the Panzl master. He has had a few of them.

For me, I removed my tray and put the servos in the tail, and the plane flew great.
I guess its all about the equipment in the plane.
As i said, once you figure out what you want in the plane, call Kevin or Al, they can tell you the optimum placement for your gear.
helpful dudes.

Darn it! Another pak kit gone I just got mine last week and in three nights the fuse is just about done. I was hoping no one would catch on to how good of a kit this is. It is always nice to know there is another waiting. I may need to call Al again and grab one of the last two. If the Panzl flys anything like the 2.7M Extra 300 it will be the best deal out there
