Word of Mouth is the best advertisement IMO. Turn your customers into salespeople and you'll eventually have more than you can handle. I think Slow starts in small business are a blessing in disguise. That'll give you time to tool for higher production. I've been contracting for close to a decade and this year was the first time I've advertised in the yellow pages. Believe it or not 90%+ of my business is still referrals. I've also had more work this year than ever before. R/C Modeling is a small community. Put out a great product and stand behind it the best you can, and LOOKOUT. You know the old saying be careful of what you wish for. LOL Will you attend the Atlanta Huckfest? I'd like to see your products first hand. God Bless CS |

Don't advertise, drop the price a very small amount. We all like bargains and word will get out quick. If more of your tailwheels are out there being used the more you sell because we buy what has worked for other people.

I think a lot of guys are planning on this as their next tailwheel. My existing planes and current construction project already have tailwheels but my next tailwheel purchase will be J&J. Keep up the good work.

I first became aware of your tailwheels here on FG through a post that had photos of your product and described the manufacturing process shortly after the the debut of the White Rose product. I was hoping to see your product at Toledo to make size compairsons since I was looking for a new tailwheel after the demise of RC Blimp. Unfortunately you weren't quite ready to make that particular trade show. In any case, after seeing what else was available at Toledo I thought it would be prudent to wait for your products to hit the streets. In waiting I lost the contact information originally obtained in the FG post so I had to wait for your ad to appear here on FG to place an order. I now have two of your tailwheels. Bottom line; It was worth the wait!! You make an excellent, well engineered product. It's much lighter than a similar sized Ohio Superstar tailwheel, looks better than anything out there, stronger than an RC Blimp tailwheel, won't break off the tiller bar like most other Haigh style tailwheels, has a strong enough spring not to deform, is user servicable if ever needed, and is dimensionally a little smaller than the other new tailwheel, making it more attractive, imo. For the time being the most effective type of advertising will likely be word of mouth, large area events, and R/C forums. You can target directly by placing ads in the appropriate forums. The forums are direct to the people you want to serve and are considerably less costly that magazine print advertising. Many modelers no longer spend much time with the magazines because they recognize that the reviews are more of a sponsored advertisement instead of a helpful article. Thanks for the great design and attention to visuals. I'll be buying more for sure!

Just keep doing what you are doing. I do not own one of your tail wheels but plan on putting one on my next project. I think you will se your business grow over the next few months as building season is not far away. Josh |
